A family run business with a proud history rooted in tradition, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. Gilsans has grown from a single shop into a thriving business with two well-established stores — The founder of Gilsan Sports, Gilbert Fenwick, opened the first shop in the picturesque market town of Leyburn in 1985, and in 1993 a second shop based in Richmond opened which was run by Gilbert's Son, Simon Fenwick, who went on to expand the business further by relocating the Richmond Store. The head office/main store is now based in Melsonby, just off the A66 and Scotch Corner in North Yorkshire.
