1.1 We offer a simple 14 day money back Guarantee. If any item is not what you required then just notify us by email/post or call 01748 822108 (stating the reason for the return) and return it to us in good condition in the original packaging within 14 days of receipt.
1.2a We will then issue you with either a refund or allow you to exchange the item for something else instead. When refunding the customer, postage costs on the original order are not refunded. Please note we cannot issue refunds or credits where the products have been returned back in poor or used condition or where the packaging is damaged.
1.2b It is advisable to return items via recorded delivery for your own proof of delivery. This postage is not reimbursed.
Damaged / Faulty Goods
1.3a Please check your goods on delivery. If items arrive damaged/faulty please let us know within 3 days by phone or via e-mail. Please leave us a mobile telephone number where we can call you.
1.3b We will then contact you personally and make arrangements to replace the faulty products as soon as possible or issue you with a full credit.
1.3c We will need your Name and Address, Original invoice, and for a refund the card details you used to make the purchase (We do not store your card details on our database for your security). Please keep the goods safe in the original packaging.
Returns and Cancellations
1.4 Customers that wish to cancel their order and return goods must notify Gilsans of Yorkshire in writing (email, letter) within 7 working days of receiving them. Goods must then be returned to Gilsans of Yorkshire within 14 days with a covering letter and copy of purchase receipt.
1.5a If you are returning goods for any other reason than they are faulty, we would ask you comply with our returns policy in clause 1.1 above. Items must be returned to us within 7 days of delivery, for a refund the items must be received by us unopened and in a saleable condition.
1.5b Once goods have been received and providing they are in an AS SOLD state as determined by Gilsans of Yorkshire, a full refund will be made within 28 days, unless items have been used.
1.6 Any customer who wishes to cancel an order before delivery must inform Gilsans of Yorkshire at their earliest convenience. If an order has already been dispatched but not delivered the customer can refuse to accept delivery and the goods will be returned to us. However, if an item has been dispatched before cancellation the delivery charge will not be refunded.
1.7a Faulty goods; in the event of goods becoming faulty the customer should inform Gilsans of Yorkshire immediately in writing (email, letter) and return the goods at once at their own cost for repair or replacement.
1.7b In the unlikely event that goods are faulty on arrival the customer must make Gilsans of Yorkshire aware within a reasonable time and be able to prove that the goods were delivered in this state. Once this has been established, we will then decide on the best course of action. This can include, but not limited to, posting the item back to us and refunding the cost or having the item collected by courier.
1.8 Special Order items or Made to Order items that require a deposit at time of ordering cannot be cancelled or refunded at any time.
1.9 Warranties are non-transferable.
